There are no buyers
Interest rates have driven buyers out of the home buying market. This is the farthest from the truth! Yes, rates are up but buyers are still in the market. We have had several listing so far in early 2023 where we are still getting multiple offers. Two listings had over 15 showings and multiple offers. Yes, it’s true we are not seeing offers going as high over asking price like we saw in 2021 & 2022 but they are still over ask. We have so many buyers looking here in Ohio in the Auglaize, Allen, Hardin, Mercer, Logan and Shelby county areas. Until we have more homes for sale, competition in the our market will continue to remain high.

The inventory alone has been at an all time low since 2017. In the past it was not uncommon to go out and show 5-10 houses on a single day. Now you may take a buyer out to one house one day and another house on another day.
